Every curb every bend in the road I travel brings me closer to my final destination. And farther from you. I felt cold at first. But I've adapted now. I've thickened my skin and learned to stand straight.

You wont be the first to hurt me. and in a way I thank you, because you're making me stronger for what may lay ahead for me.

However my gratitude ends there.

For you also misled and caused me more pain than I have ever felt.

And now it seems your dangling your new found flame in front of my eyes. Almost as if to completely destroy me thus eliminating me from your life.

But that's okay. Because I wont put any more effort. I gave you more than you deserved, and I asked for nothing in return.
